LED & keyboard labels for intelligent firemen suit

Firemen work in tough environments and it is extremely important that their equipment is durable and in perfect condition.

Requirements for the development of LED and key labels:

• Flexibility
• Integrated PCBA – stitched onto the firemen suit
• Short term exposure to 350°C and long term to 250°C
• Washable in high temperature water min. 20 times

The result is a self-extinguished flexible silicone rubber keypad solution protecting PCBA against heat. The solution is made of co-molded UL-94V0 materials in black and semi transparent materials plus an adhesive sealant.
