Heating elements
Mekoprint provides customized heating elements by means of both screenprint and etching technologies. With screenprint technology, the heating elements are available as silver or graphite paste printed on e.g. polyester.
By means of etching technology, they are available in aluminum or copper on polyester or polyimide.
Both technologies make it possible to produce heating elements in printing widths of a max. 610 mm. and can be mass-produced in large batches via roll-to-roll production, or as small batches supplied on panels or punched out individually.
The heating elements are mounted and processed in a minimal amount of time, which contributes significantly to a reduction of the total production cost.
Countless applications
The natural advantage of foil-based heating elements is their application in 'out-of-the-ordinary' geometries, where a minimal weight and use of space are additional requirements. Heating elements from Mekoprint are used in e.g. the heating of laboratory equipment, containers and incubators, side-view mirrors on cars, heating foils for LCD displays and as a counter-effect to condensation.
